Absolutely not. At the very beginning, all you need is a pair of drumsticks and a quiet practice pad, which takes up minimal space. Later on, a compact electronic drum kit is an excellent solution for apartment living.
I struggle with limb coordination. Can I still learn to play the drums?
This is completely natural! No one is born with pre-developed limb independence. Coordination is a purely mechanical skill that we build step by step through specific, straightforward isolation exercises.
